Pastel Reverie, Original Painting on Canvas

I am proud to introduce the Coastal Dreams collection: a small but captivating collection of paintings that transport you to a dream world, far removed from the noise of everyday life.

The sea has an extraordinary power to make you feel simultaneously energised and relaxed. Inspired by the feeling you get when you arrive at the coast, each painting serves as a window to the shore, inviting you to slow down and listen to the waves. 

After a long, rainy winter (on top of everything else going on in the world) we could all do with a bit more colour and joy in our lives. Coastal Dreams harnesses every colour in the light spectrum. Although they may appear predominantly blue at first glance, each painting is made up of a rainbow of colour. Using my signature technique, the paint is applied in layers before washing it away, mimicking the waves on the shore as it drips down the canvas.
