This painting Today is Full of Hope is a pastel sunrise, full of light and colour. Even though there are some rain showers, it's still beautiful and joyful. I wanted to capture how it feels when you're just emerging from the darkness - whatever that means to you. Painting and being by the sea is what helps me feel better when I'm struggling, and I wanted to capture that beautiful feeling of breaking through into the light on canvas.
